Amanda Swiger, the “content rebel,” is redefining the landscape of photo and video for personal branding with her bold, against-the-grain approach. A powerhouse with over a decade of experience, Amanda has covered everything from 700+ weddings to iconic campaigns with global brands like McDonald’s and Chevy, to running a successful boudoir studio. She has now pivoted to focus solely on bespoke content and branding, bringing an unmatched depth of creativity and authenticity to each session. Launching her own coaching and education company at the start of 2023, Amanda’s path took an exciting turn when she began collaborating with Goss cover star Leanne Lopez Mosley, leading to a defining career moment: photographing Leanne for this magazine’s cover.
Amanda’s always been quite audacious and one to do things her own way, so it’s no surprise her slogan is “allergic to boring branding.” Her magic lies in her unique blend of fierce creativity and empathy, rooted in her mental health background, allowing her clients to feel genuinely seen and celebrated. Together with her wife, Jordan, Amanda offers clients not just visuals, but an “asset library” that reflects their next level of power and growth.
Tell us about getting to photograph the cover of this issue!
“Talk about a pinch-me moment! I still have to remind myself that this is real—because I never thought to dream of this. We shot the cover in one of Leanne’s favorite spots, surrounded by the iconic NYC skyline. My absolute favorite part, though, was the next morning, when the entire team gathered on the sofa in her suite to look over some previews I had edited. Seeing Leanne’s happiness, knowing the shots were exactly what she wanted, made it all so special. I love what I do, but creating something this meaningful for someone I deeply admire and am grateful for made it unforgettable.”
So do you shoot both photo and video personally or do you have a team?
“While I can shoot both photo and video, I primarily focus on photography, and my wife, Jordan focuses on video. We’re sometimes joined by my best friend, Tiffany, who steps in as an additional videographer. Most of the time, though, it’s just Jordan and me, which our clients love because we have this seamless connection—often knowing exactly what the other is thinking without saying a word. I personally handle all the editing for both photo and video, ensuring that every piece we deliver has my personal touch.
What makes you different from the other photo and video teams out there?
“Since nearly all my clients are coaches or work closely with one, my deep understanding of this industry is a core part of my magic. I know that it’s about far more than just pretty photos or a few videos to stand out in the online space. You need content that not only showcases you powerfully but does so uniquely. Because I’m immersed in what top coaches in this field are teaching about content, I can help my clients create visuals that truly amplify their mission and resonate with their audience. And I know firsthand the power of this approach—I’ve sold out my own mastermind three times, solely through the impact of my content.
I also don’t do cookie cutter. Our clients are vast in the types of businesses they run and their personal styles, so every session is unapologetically a celebration of who they are. For some that means fashion inspired NYC shoots, for others that means earthy beach shoots or bold color filled locations. It’s never about fitting in with me. It’s about celebrating the trailblazer in each of them and creating content that feels truly like their best self.
We also offer both professional photo and 4K video, and a lot of it. I’m so over the idea that content creation is just another to-do list item to check off. This process is about building a rich asset library that grows with you and supports your future goals. It’s about embodiment, about feeling seen and supported and known at a whole new level. This is a huge reason so many of the women featured in this issue worked with us!
Our full-day sessions provide clients with hundreds of fully retouched images, 40 ready-to-post reels, and high-quality 4K video clips. This goes beyond simple b-roll footage or a few new photos—it’s content that speaks directly to who you are and where you’re headed. For many, these sessions have been instantly transformative; we’ve had clients achieve million-dollar months, triple their income, see dramatic improvements in ad performance, or reach their first million-dollar year.”
Speaking of landing in their next level of power, what is it like to get to photograph that?
“It always gives me chills and fills me with gratitude. Just yesterday, I did a branding session, and afterward, my client told me she felt forever changed—that she had deepened her embodiment and was more willing than ever to own her power. She knew that this shift would transform everything for her.
And she’s not alone. Almost every client I work with echoes similar sentiments. They feel truly seen and understood in their power, and that recognition sparks an immediate, profound shift. No matter where they are in their business, there’s always an up-level waiting for them. And having tangible proof of this more empowered version of themselves in the photos and videos? That’s when everything truly clicks. It’s one thing to feel like you’re stepping up; it’s another to actually see that elevated self reflected back at you in your visuals.
This transformation changes everything. You start showing up differently—in every post, every client call, every program you lead. You become bolder, more courageous. You see yourself with new clarity, and you begin making business decisions from this empowered identity. Their people can feel that shift, leading my clients to grow their companies like wildfire.”
What is it like for you to get experience that up-level close up?
“It’s changed me deeply. This work has called me to be even more audacious, more grounded in who I am, and more willing to go against the grain to do things my way. Beyond just helping me grow as a coach, this industry has shown me, time and again, what’s truly possible for me. “
So you travel to your clients? Or do they typically come to you?
“We travel far and wide for our clients! Just this year, we’ve been to NYC, DC, Miami, West Palm Beach, LA, Chicago, Grand Rapids, and, of course, had numerous sessions in our hometown of Philadelphia.
Every client has unique needs and vision, and I suggest a variety of options to fit their vision, with location playing a huge role. Sometimes we both travel to a specific spot; other times we go to them or clients come to us. The location has to match the vibe they’re aiming for, so we’re always on the move, finding the perfect setting to bring their brand to life!”
Manifest with us, what are you actively calling in now?
“I would love to photograph sessions in Europe—especially in Italy, London, and Greece—and out west in the U.S., where I’m obsessed with the desert vibes! I hope to expand into more work with publications and fashion as well. I’m manifesting a life where my wife and I can work from anywhere, side by side. For 2025, I’m calling in 50 extraordinary branding clients who are ready to say goodbye to boring and create visuals that become the catalyst for everything they’re dreaming of.”
What’s one thing you wish every woman knew?
“Not hiding is the best fuel for any business. It doesn’t matter who you are or what you look like—the more you show up authentically as yourself, the more money you make, and the greater impact you have. You don’t need to wait until you hit a certain milestone or look a certain way; you are exactly what someone needs right now. They just need to be able to see you.
For others to truly see you, though, you first have to be willing to see yourself. You have to put yourself out there, embracing imperfection. This is something I continually work on myself. This version of me is powerful and trailblazer and so is every other version of me I have yet to meet. Seeing these photos of myself for this magazine landed a new level for me, igniting a deeper fire and passion in my career like never before because I know this work changes lives.
And the same is true for you. Even if it’s just with your iPhone, be willing to create content that allows you to be fully seen. You are enough, and the work you’re doing is changing the world. When you own that truth, everything in your world becomes bigger, brighter, and more impactful.”
