Transforming Lives and Empowering Women Through Authentic Branding

Anna L Ennis is a transformative figure in the world of feminine branding, with a career that spans over two decades in the beauty and wellness industry. She began her journey from behind the chair, where she quickly realized that her work went far beyond enhancing external beauty—it was about empowering women from within.

Today, Anna is one of the most sought-after branding coaches  who help women build personal brands by tapping into their inner femininity and embracing their true selves. Her work is rooted in the belief that internal wealth and soulful connections are the foundations of success. She is passionate about guiding women to harmonize their roles as wives, mothers, and entrepreneurs while creating lasting legacies.

Tell us about yourself, especially the parts that are not so known from your online presence?

One of the things I don’t often show online is my family and the sacred moments we share together. Being a wife and a Mom is the foundation of the work I do today. Alongside my relationship with God, this is the area of my life I cherish the most, my family is everything to me. They remain private, untouchable, and accessible only to those in my closest circle not because I don’t want to share, but because we are all meant to have private parts of our lives.

I think back to how I grew up. I’ve carried that simplicity with me throughout my entire life. My favorite parts of my day are my 4 AM workouts, my quiet time in prayer, journaling,  the morning rush getting kids to school, then the time I  work at my coaching business. As I have reflected on this, I realize that the things we tend to share online are most often not the important things in life. I’m a wife, Mom of two teenage daughters, cuddler of a poodle, and a French bulldog. Making things look pretty in our cottage-like house is something I adore. I talk to my Mom almost every day. I thrive on routine but  live for spontaneity. I’ve followed a similar morning routine for the past four years and built my entire business from the corner of my bedroom. I don’t believe in simply getting rich, but being truly wealthy, which only happens when our soul is aligned with our true essence.

What brought you into the field of healing, and emotional intelligence?

For over 20 years, I was involved in every aspect of the beauty and wellness industry. It led me to where I am today as a feminine branding coach.

“I think the most intimate and underrated relationship for coaching is found in the beauty industry behind the chair ”.

Getting to be one-on-one with thousands of women was the biggest gift in leading me to what I do now. I began doing hair at 16 while I was still in high school. After high school, I moved a few hours away from home to work in a bigger city and attended college at the same time. I entered the industry with the intention of making people feel great about themselves both internally and externally. (Although at 18 years old I probably didn’t have the vocabulary to actually express the true change that I desired for the world.) I quickly learned that the one-on-one connections I had with women had nothing to do with their hair. The salon I worked at was upscale and attracted women from all walks of life. This work was much deeper than just hair. My greatest gift to becoming the healer I am today came with learning to listen…and not just hear words but to hold each word as a gift I was chosen to receive.

Many women come into coaching because they want more clients or more money, and there’s nothing wrong with that. But it’s always something bigger and deeper that drives massive wealth and attracts more clients into our businesses.  We cultivate true healing in the art of our craft that we choose to do every day. The greatest education will always be experienced with human connection and strengthening our emotional intelligence. Personal experience for me was the first 20 years in the form of scalp massages, aroma journeys, colors, cuts, and of course, listening, empathizing, and more listening. Being “present in the moment” absolutely matters.

There comes a time in our lives when the tug on our heart to expand our true essence becomes so strong it cannot be ignored. We choose to go after something bigger than we planned.  We jump, not knowing if it’s actually going to work. The faith we have in every cell of our body defends our belief in what’s truly possible.

Eight years ago, I left the place where I worked for 17 years to tend to the tug on my heart.  Life expansion into the essence of who I was becoming. For a good four to five years, I remained in the beauty and wellness industry but on my own, playing around with different things.  I became an event planner, started a publishing company, and wrote a bestselling book. I did all of this stuff, searching….but it wasn’t really searching.  It was avoiding.  I was too scared of the big thing that God was calling me to do,  so I kept searching for external things to stay busy.

I reached a point where the voice was so loud that it was like, “Anna, you chose to leave safety and security, you’re making yourself more and more distracted to divert from the real thing you are being called to do ….showing women how to build  personal brands in a different way from how they have ever known..You CAN be a wife and a Mom and an entrepreneur.  You CAN bring your experience into the business space. You CAN be wildly successful by tapping into your feminine energy. You CAN use those skills to your benefit rather than seeing them as a weakness. I attribute the work I do today as a feminine business branding coach to the healing insights I gained from my years in the beauty industry. The depth, vulnerability, and transformation that occur in my world are rooted in the real-life, one-on-one experiences I had with all the  women who sat in my chair. The success I’ve achieved in the coaching industry is a result of my unwavering focus on changing one life at a time. The power of one has been my secret sauce.

What advice would you give to your younger self?

I do think big dreamers often get stuck. We get in our heads to try to rationalize the exact way, the exact how to get there.  Especially as women, we feel the need to prove ourselves or show results to feel worthy.  What I would go back and tell my eight-year-old self, what I would tell myself five, six, seven, eight years ago, or any woman who feels stuck, is that to get everything you’ve ever wanted, you have to go play. You have to stop thinking so much. Move out of your rational mind and into your heart. The magic happens just on the other side of the switch we turn off to quiet our minds.

If I’ve learned anything, it’s that we seldom make a wrong decision from our heart, but we do from our mind.  There’s always the possibility of making a mistake from our head, but our heart leads us in such a cool way.  The only way to tap into our heart is when we allow ourselves to relax, play, do the “silly” things we think are not productive.  Spend time on our hobby, do something that makes us lose track of time. When we’re in that energy and frequency, we bring in not only fun and playfulness but creativity, femininity, sensuality, abundance, and love—all the things we truly desire.

There’s no rush. I promise, it’s all coming—and it’s going to be far bigger than anything your mind could ever imagine. When your thoughts take over and you feel defeated, frustrated, or like giving up, grab your journal, a piece of paper, or even a napkin, and lay it all out.

Write it down, let it go, and surrender. Sometimes the best way to embrace our inner strength is to burn that paper and claim the problem as over. The better we get at this, the more room there is for peace and love in our hearts.   We can’t stay stuck when we’re at peace.

What was one of your biggest transformational shifts since coming into this work?

There have been many transformational shifts throughout my entire journey that have led me to this point.  If I think back to the first transformational shift, it was the community I put myself in when I started doing hair and why I stayed there for so long in that specific community.  The main reason was that I focused on my personal development and growth. I invested all my time and money into personal progress.  I ate Top Ramen and peanut butter and jelly sandwiches so I could go to Europe when I was 19 years old and learn how to do hair for three months by myself at TONI & GUY.  From there, it moved on to learning from Tony Robbins, Chris Hart, Dale Carnegie, John Maxwell, Strategies, and other influential people. I love learning.

To this day, this stands true.  As I entered the coaching industry full-time, I invested in a coach for myself so I could experience life even on a deeper level.  I chose to be part of a mastermind so I could be in community with other high-level women.  I’ve taken programs and vast amounts of education to strengthen my skills internally, and also to become a master of personal branding.  Devotion to our craft is key.

I have prioritized my education above all else.  There have been phases in my life where I desired something, and my ego took over.  I wanted to be rich, and I became rich.  Then I got rich and realized, “What is this? This is not what I desired.  This is not what I thought it was going to be.”  So I promised myself from that point on that I would focus on wealth—internal wealth first, and then external wealth. That mindset has served me well, and I’m going to stick with it.

What offers do you have lined up for women?

I’m calling for a deep movement for women who have been hustling and grinding, searching for a different way to live their lives, to come back home to their feminine energy in business. This is a place where we don’t have to choose between success and fulfillment—we can have it all.  The path to true purpose and fulfillment as a woman in business is by embracing the gifts we were given as women.  I’m calling for these gifts to be recognized as strengths rather than weaknesses, for women to embrace and honor being wives(if they choose),  Moms (if they choose), and entrepreneurs.  We  must approach business in a way that’s different from anything we’ve done before.  It takes brave women to trailblaze a new way of doing business, one that honors our unique strengths.  This can only be achieved by first recognizing, in addition to embracing our own femininity—it’s our greatest superpower.

Here are some pieces of my work that embody the sacred parts of being a woman, but also the mindset and strategy to cultivate a wildly successful wealthy woman brand.

In my world you get to pick your brand building adventure: From Activating the Feminine in Your Business to build six figures, to Bold Mastermind, The Truth Be Told, Self led BOLD program bundle, Brushstrokes of Identity and theBusiness Incubator, to the higher offers such as The Branding Blueprint and so many more.

MANIFEST WITH US : What are you actively calling in now?

I’m calling in women with giant entrepreneurial goals who have a burning desire to do this whole thing called business “like a woman”. The women that crave the  life they haven’t written about in books yet. Women who have done the most important job in the world, taking care of their children and have decided to step out into the entrepreneurial world. I want them in my world. I also want the woman who is trying to make her first $50K month doing what she loves without sacrificing her relationship, family, and freedom. The woman who is calling in massive wealth, breaking generational curses, and creating a legacy is my type of woman.

When it comes to actual tactical stuff, I dream of empowering millions of women to activate their true essence and create a body of legacy work that lives on far longer than our time here on earth. I dream:  of my daughters surpassing me in every aspect of my life, of celebrating 50 years of a happy marriage, of continuing to live my best life, helping women reconnect with their soul, their calling, or even a deeper meaning and purpose for her life. Those are the big things for me.

Welcome to the I AM WOMAN movement, where your feminine energy leads, guides, and elevates your brand to infinite possibilities.

What are some surprising or unexpected shifts you’ve seen in your clients since they began working with you?

My favorite shifts come from women who come to me to build an iconic personal brand that attracts more clients and more money but soon realize that their ability to tap into their feminine is what has been holding them back this entire time. I have women that have had 9 to 5 jobs for over a decade and have decided they want to start their entrepreneurial journey. I love these women because I get to share with them from the very beginning how they get to do it differently from everyone else. I have women that within the first week of working with me immediately begin rolling in multiple transactions per day.

I also have women who’ve been in the game for a while and have decided that although they have it all it’s not what they were expecting and are asking to not only have the success, but to create lasting wealth within all aspects of their life. They come into my world, and they see very quickly how to pivot and make a few adjustments to what they have already been doing to create results that are centered from what they can’t see quite yet.

A  huge success is also when a woman practices intentionality. . She starts seeing things differently. Sometimes she makes different choices in her relationships, or with the people she surrounds herself with. Those are giant wins.  Financial wins are also important, but even though I’ve done very well financially, I don’t talk about money at the level others might. Because as a woman, when you’re tapped into your feminine energy and the foundations of your soul, the money comes. Success comes. I’ve gotten blocked by money before because I thought that unless I had money or made money or showed that I had money, I wasn’t successful. But that’s not the case. As women, if we understand that the greatest way to bring in more money than we could imagine, is to come back home—to come back to what we feel, see, and hear, and to come back to our own body—then we’ll be successful.

On cultivating an abundance mindset :

My past thought was that being in the mindset of abundance was a big, complicated process—almost unattainable. I believed that only those who practiced more than me, cracked some magic code, or were just lucky could stay in that place.  I’ve come to realize that abundance is our birthright. God gave us the gift of perfection when He created us. Somewhere along the way, we started equating abundance with “things” (which, yes, can happen), but in reality, abundance is a frequency, a light within, a pure love.

Abundance comes and stays in our lives when we commit to daily practices like staying present, choosing intentionality, deciding on living joyfully, practicing being thankful for what is already in our lives. When we turn up the volume on how precious this beautiful life already is, the life we desire manifests more quickly, with greater joy. It’s the small moments we fully live into that build an unstoppable energy. The more we elevate our frequency, the more our feelings, thoughts, and emotions transform. We become beacons of light and goodness in the world—and before we know it, incredible dreams, opportunities, and relationships start to show up.

Has your impact had a global reach?

Yes, it has, and it’s been the most powerful thing in this industry. My favorite aspect of the internet is that I can connect with women from all over the world. Recently I had clients from Uganda, another from France, Australia, the UK, and South America.  I’m from a small town near Yosemite, California. I never would have guessed that I’d be on the phone with women from such far away countries. This work is not local; it’s not limited to my country. This work is global, and it’s a worldwide effort to bring women back to their natural essence.
