Tell me a bit about yourself—the fun stuff, your quirks, hobbies, or passions that people might not know from your professional bio.
“Well, I am fortunate that I actually get to bring my quirks and magic directly into my professional bio! Exploring consciousness and the mysteries of the universe has always been the greatest source of fascination for me. Having said that, while I’m a deeply spiritual person, it took me a long time to give myself permission to lead with this professionally — and to let the world see who I really am. While my work is rooted in structure and intellect, I bring a sense of wonder and play into all that I do.”
With your impressive background in law and a PhD, it seems you have a unique blend of structure and intuition. Have you always had this duality?
“Yes, it’s always been there, though it evolved over time. As a child, I had a natural affinity for divination—for example, I could read a fellow schoolgirl’s star chart with uncanny accuracy. But when I got the opportunity to go to law school at 19, then was awarded scholarships to do my doctorate in therapeutic jurisprudence, it seemed foolish to pass up that opportunity. I refer to my twenties as my left-brain era. I was rigorously trained in structured, critical thinking and my eventual work as a human rights lawyer, especially in the area of domestic violence, shaped and grounded me in logic and method. However, in my early thirties, I had a major spiritual awakening that reawakened my intuitive gifts and shifted my perspective completely. Since then, my journey has been about finding harmony between intellect and intuition.”
Tell us about your spiritual awakening and how it transformed your life and career.
“It was a life-changing event. On 15 March 2011, I had a vision of three men entering my apartment the following day. It was so vivid and clear that I decided to change my movements the next day. The vision came to pass: three men did enter my apartment, were caught on CCTV, and arrested. As I had seen it unfold the night before, I had taken myself elsewhere, which meant that I was physically fine. This experience opened a door within me—from that day forward, I could see things that I couldn’t make sense of through a rational lens. I saw glimpses into the future, and I could perceive people more deeply, meaning that I could see a person’s soul wounds or what I call “splinters”. I could also see what was on the other side of healing these, meaning I could perceive someone’s true evolutionary potential.
Now, this all might sound fascinating and wonderful, but in reality, this wasn’t glamorous or welcome for me at all. In fact, I struggled with this gift of perception for a long time. This was because I didn’t know how to turn it “off” at first and it fast became overwhelming. Secondly, I felt shame about being different or weird. I was still in the law at the time, and my dramatic shifts in perception were uncomfortable because it challenged elements of my identity. I very much wanted to be “normal”, to fit in and belong. However, the more I openly shared what I was perceiving, the more people asked if they could pay me for guidance, and then they would tell others who would ask the same of me. Without any real planning, it grew from something I did secretly in my spare time, in my living room in Bondi Beach, into a global business.”
Your journey has come full circle. How did this lead you to focus on empowering women, particularly around money?
“My work now centers on helping entrepreneurs to remove the energetic money “splinters” that are holding them back from growth in business, and really, from achieving their fullest potential. Money offers a doorway into a greater soul inquiry, and in my work we always end up exploring deeper themes of personal power, self-love, wholeness, and finding an ongoing sense of resolution and inner peace.
The way that I differentiate splinters from limiting beliefs is that while these beliefs are internally generated, splinters are the foreign objects that give rise to these beliefs. A money splinter is not you, not your fault, and can be removed, just like a pesky little splinter that you might get in your left little toe. In reality, a splinter is not a big deal, but if you don’t address it, then it will curtail your movement, cause you to limp, and cause related issues over time. Similarly, on an energetic level, money splinters can come from earlier life experiences, or might even be inherited. These distort our world-view and disrupt the true expression of ourselves. In gently drawing these splinters out, I help women to get out of their own way, to stop playing small, and to step into the “big-ness” of who they really are. When you take out your splinters, your internal and external growth is infinite. I support women to step into their power and create ripple effects that extend to their families and communities.
A full circle dimension to my money work comes from a seed planted in my earlier career. I became interested in the prevention of domestic violence as well as improving the legal response to it. I discovered that, when we look for the primary driver for gender-based intimate partner violence, the global research shows that incidence of abuse tracks with gender-inequality across all jurisdictions — and inequality is measured in part by financial inequality. In places with greater equality, the inverse is true: there is less intimate partner violence. While abuse is a complex issue and there certainly aren’t glib solutions, increasing financial resources is not simply a “nice to have”, but can have very real consequences in terms of life choices. This is all really about freedom, power, and the ability to live life on our own terms.”
Can you share some of the successes you’ve witnessed through your Money Splinter Method®?
One of the most powerful examples comes from the brilliant Leanne Lopez Mosley, an exceptional woman who has influenced me in profound ways as well. She gave me permission to share that, after her first splinter session with me:
“Not only did I have the biggest week in my business of all time but the most important thing was how I felt; I just felt so peaceful.” Leanne lopez Mosley
This perfectly captures how my work goes beyond just making more money—it’s about who you become in the process.”
What advice would you offer to women who feel stuck?
“My advice is to trust your intuition and follow the crumbs, even if the path is not linear and you can’t yet see “how” you’ll achieve the destination that you are being nudged towards. Our journeys as women are cyclical in nature, which is a mystery to embrace! When we attune to our own intuition and act from a place of trust, even when it feels uncertain, we will eventually discover the great intricate weaving that is always working itself through our lives.”
What inspired your focus on the feminine way of making money?
“When there’s an imbalance between our inner masculine and feminine energies, or what I term the “being” and “doing” modes of operating, we might find ourselves stuck in chasing or hustling, trying to make things happen through sheer effort. My approach results in us naturally opening up to receive with true feminine flow. It’s not about doing more or working harder, but about returning to your inherent capacity to receive abundance with ease. This shift brings incredible breakthroughs, often very quickly.”
What does manifesting look like for you, and what are you currently calling in?
“I’m manifesting powerful collaborations with women who share my mission of expanding and evolving human consciousness. I love working with change-makers and industry leaders who are impacting the world. My role often involves supporting them energetically so that they can expand their reach and influence. This season of my life is about deep, meaningful work with a select group of people who are driving global transformation.”
Do you have a magical formula, rituals, or practices that help you maintain balance and tap into abundance?
“I’ve had a daily meditation practice for 17 years, without fail. Right now I do my own special Golden Elevator meditations that fully open the energy of abundance. I also use my own splinter removal process whenever I encounter resistance and contraction. Practicing self-compassion, gratitude, and intentionality is at the heart of my magical method, which marries structure and intuition to unlock ease and flow”.
Any final words of wisdom for women?
“So many of my clients are incredible power-houses who are used to making things happen, doing everything themselves, and just pushing through. It can be a radical act to surrender and allow your feminine magic to emerge.
