Jennie Blackwood | Building a Life Without Limits

Filed in:

Our Manifest CoverGirl Jennie Blackwood is the kind of woman who turns adversity into opportunity—and then teaches thousands of others how to do the same. An entrepreneur, coach, and podcast host, Jennie has built a global platform dedicated to helping women step into their power, create financial independence, and believe in the possibility of their biggest dreams.

Born in Reno, Nevada and raised in the small town of Grass Valley, California, Jennie grew up surrounded by nature with a vivid imagination and a deep inner drive for something more. As an adopted child raised by a sheriff father and teacher mother, she developed resilience, emotional intelligence, and an early curiosity about the world beyond her hometown.

After earning a degree in Mass Communications and working in corporate marketing and advertising, Jennie quickly realized she was building success for others rather than herself. Taking a leap of faith, she launched her own boutique social media marketing agency—instantly attracting clients and tripling her income within her first year.

Her entrepreneurial journey expanded even further when she created Social Graze Charcuterie, a traveling charcuterie bar that unexpectedly sparked a global movement. Women from around the world began asking Jennie how to replicate the concept, leading her to launch an online course that has now sold more than 6,000 copies worldwide. From there, she developed the Cart Cash Flow Academy coaching program, mentoring over 200+ entrepreneurs on how to start, market, and scale their own businesses. Today, Jennie’s mission has evolved beyond a single niche. Through her podcast Girl, Why Not You?, her coaching platforms, and her growing personal brand, she empowers women everywhere to rewrite their stories, trust their intuition, and build lives of freedom, family legacy, and financial success.

Betting on Yourself

Jennie’s entrepreneurial spirit didn’t come from a family of business owners. In fact, she is the only entrepreneur in a large extended family. “I’ve always had this inner voice telling me there was something more,” she says. “Even when life got hard, I never believed that closed doors meant the end. They just meant it was time to pivot.” That mindset became her superpower.

Early in her career, Jennie worked in corporate marketing and advertising, building campaigns and relationships that generated significant revenue for the agencies she worked for. Yet the experience revealed an important truth: the clients were signing because of her.

“I was doing all the work, bringing in clients, and seeing the checks they were writing,” she explains. “But I was barely paying my bills.” Instead of settling, Jennie decided to take a leap. She left the agency world and launched her own boutique social media marketing business. Five clients followed her immediately.

In her first year alone, she tripled her previous income. For the first time, Jennie realized that the freedom she had been seeking was possible. But the greatest gift entrepreneurship gave her had nothing to do with money. During that same period, Jennie’s father—her best friend—was battling cancer. Because she controlled her schedule, she was able to spend invaluable time with him during his final months. “That’s when everything changed for me,” she says. “I realized time is the most valuable thing we have.” It was a moment that cemented her decision: she would never return to a traditional nine-to-five career.

A Business Born in Crisis

Years later, Jennie would face another defining chapter. While pregnant with her second child and raising a toddler at home, financial pressure began building within her household. The real estate market downturn had affected her husband’s income, and Jennie knew she needed to create something new.

Instead of retreating, she leaned into creativity. She launched Social Graze Charcuterie, a traveling charcuterie bar designed for events and gatherings. What started as a simple business idea quickly grew into something much larger. “People started messaging me from all over the world asking how I did it,” Jennie recalls. Recognizing the demand, she created an online course teaching women how to start their own charcuterie cart businesses. The response was overwhelming. Today, that course has sold more than 6,000 copies worldwide, helping women across the globe launch their own businesses and generate income.

But Jennie didn’t stop there. She soon realized that many aspiring entrepreneurs needed deeper guidance—not just a course, but mentorship, accountability, and community.

That realization led to the creation of Cart to Cashflow™, Jennie’s signature 10-week business accelerator designed to help women launch and scale profitable mobile food cart businesses—from charcuterie and s’mores to desserts and other event concepts—with low startup costs. Having now coached more than 300 women, many of her clients begin booking $1,000+ events within just weeks of launching, proving that entrepreneurship doesn’t have to start with a massive investment to create meaningful income.

Watching those women succeed has become one of the most rewarding parts of Jennie’s journey. “There is nothing more powerful than seeing someone believe in themselves for the first time,” she says.

Building a Movement

As Jennie’s business evolved, so did her vision. While the charcuterie business created the foundation, Jennie realized her true calling was much larger: helping women everywhere unlock their potential. That vision inspired the launch of her podcast, Girl, Why Not You? The title reflects Jennie’s core philosophy. “So many people see someone successful online and assume it happened easily,” she explains. “But behind every success story is adversity, reinvention, and growth.” Listen to the latest episodes of “Girl, Why Not You?” here.

Through her podcast and mentorship programs, Jennie shares the lessons she has learned throughout her own journey—lessons about resilience, mindset, entrepreneurship, and self-belief. Her goal is simple: to show women that the life they want is possible. “I want women to realize that greatness is a decision,” she says.

A Legacy for the Next Generation

At the heart of everything Jennie builds is one powerful motivation: her family. A proud mother of four—two stepdaughters, a young son, and a baby girl—Jennie is deeply committed to showing her children what it means to pursue your dreams. The night before her GOSS photoshoot, she had a quiet moment that reminded her exactly why she does what she does. “I was putting my baby girl to sleep and I told her, ‘Mommy is making her dreams come true right in front of your eyes so you grow up knowing you can make your dreams come true too.’”

That moment brought her to tears. For Jennie, success isn’t just about revenue or recognition—it’s about building a legacy. “I want my kids to grow up knowing they can be anything they want,” she says. “I want them to see that their mom made it happen even in the hardest of times.”

Manifesting the Future

Jennie is no stranger to the power of manifestation. Over the past year, she has actively practiced visualizing her goals—and the results have surprised even her. Looking ahead, Jennie’s ambitions continue to grow. After generating $600,000 in revenue during her first year of this business, she now has her sights set on building a multi-million-dollar company and expanding her impact globally.

For readers inspired by her journey, Jennie’s mission is simple: she wants every woman to ask herself the same question that transformed her own life—Why not you?

Jennie’s message to women everywhere is refreshingly simple. There is nothing extraordinary about the path she took—except the decision to keep going. “Becoming great is a decision,” she says. “There’s nothing special about me that someone else doesn’t have.” What matters is believing that your dreams are possible—and taking the first step toward them. “Take the risk on yourself,” Jennie says. “Find your “why”. Build the life you want.” Because in the end, the real question isn’t if success is possible. It’s the one Jennie asks women everywhere: Why not you?
