What are some things people may not know about you from your online presence?
By trade, I’ve been a dental hygienist for 14 years. I’m also a proud mom of two fierce, spirited little girls—ages nine and six—and a dog mom to Lilo, our lovable pit bull. We affectionately call her our “therapy dog” because she has a way of making everything feel better.
My family and I live in Canada, where we make the most of every season. In the summer, you’ll find us on the lake, enjoying water sports, four-wheeling, and hiking. When winter rolls around, we retreat to cottage country, snowmobiling, tobogganing, and keeping life playful. After all, life’s too short not to have fun!
Something people might not know about me is that I’m deeply passionate about energetics, energy work, and spirituality. I love meditating outdoors and grounding myself in nature—sometimes just running my hands through dirt to connect with the earth. These moments help me center myself and recharge so I can show up fully for others.
Oh, and here’s a fun fact—I’m terrible at swimming, but I still can’t get enough of nature! It’s my way to reset, and it’s become essential to the work I do now. I’ve learned (the hard way) that you can’t pour from an empty cup. To serve others in BIG ways, I have to put myself first—and that’s a lesson I live by every day.
Tell us about your journey into this space.
It’s been such a natural flow of events. Looking back, I can see that. But at the time, I was really struggling. Eight years into my dental hygiene career, I found myself sitting in a nursery chair, breastfeeding my four-month-old who refused to nap. I was 60 pounds overweight, overworked, anxious, and trapped in a toxic marriage. As I sat there exhausted, my three-year-old daughter, Isabella, gently knocked on the door and whispered, “Mommy, I need you.”
Those four simple words hit me like a tidal wave. She needs me. They need me. I need me. That moment—on October 20, 2018—became the turning point in my life. It was the day I committed to a journey of self-love and transformation, one that would push me far beyond my comfort zone. I lost 60 pounds, sought therapy, and allowed myself to overcome the stigma I had around anxiety medication. I found the strength to leave my marriage with my two girls, carrying only the essentials. I cut back my dental hygiene hours and threw myself into building my business, which quickly became my full-time passion. Along the way, I built a beautiful life with Brad, who loves my daughters as his own. We are so blessed. Today, I share my story to empower and challenge others—proving that no matter how difficult the journey, transformation is possible when you choose yourself.
What advice would you give to mothers who feel guilty about choosing themselves?
Trust your inner voice. That quiet whisper inside you—it’s your truth. You’re worthy of love, respect, and fulfillment, and it’s okay to walk away from anything that doesn’t give you that. Your intuition is guiding you, so listen to it. It’s okay to choose yourself.
What advice would you give to your younger self?
When you’re in that dark space, when you’ve lost your identity and question your self-worth, remember that change is possible. It starts with one small step. Don’t underestimate the power of that. Whether it’s committing to your health, cutting down work hours, or leaving a toxic relationship—those tiny changes will lead to the life you deserve.

What Rules, Rituals, or Practices Do You Have for an Abundance Mindset?
Gratitude is non-negotiable for me—it’s how I start every day. The universe loves a grateful heart, and gratitude unlocks the door to more abundance. I’m also a firm believer in affirmations. Speaking abundance into my life daily helps cultivate the energy I want to attract.
I make it a habit to thank the universe constantly, even for the little things, like the simple joy of breathing fresh air. For me, every blessing—big or small—deserves acknowledgment. Above all, I let growth, not fear, guide my decisions. When you lead with gratitude and intention, abundance flows naturally.
What are you calling in now for the Manifest Issue?
I’m calling in a new phase of abundance and deep alignment with my purpose through my speaking business. My vision is to create a lasting legacy of empowerment and transformation that impacts generations to come. I see immense opportunities to expand my platform through workshops and keynote presentations, reaching more busy professionals and inspiring them to embrace their potential. I’ve set an ambitious goal: to achieve significant growth in my speaking engagements, including the possibility of a TEDx talk.
This next chapter is all about stepping boldly into my calling and making a powerful impact through my message. The best is yet to come!
