The Founder & CEO of Collective Women’s Leadership is redefining mentorship, executive presence, and modern leadership—one bold conversation at a time.
There are leaders, and then there are architects of movements. Joyce Toti is both. With over 25 years of experience working with some of the most iconic global luxury brands—Tiffany & Co., LVMH, and others—Joyce has always understood the power of personal branding, executive presence, and resilience in male-dominated industries. But it was during her MBA program, as a seasoned student surrounded by brilliant women entering the workforce in a post-COVID reality, that she saw a massive gap—and an even greater opportunity.
That realization gave birth to Collective Women’s Leadership (CWL), a platform and movement now empowering tens of thousands of women worldwide through mentorship, daily video content, and a mobile app described as “mentorship in your pocket.” Built upon what she now calls The Collective Method—a practical, emotionally intelligent framework for leadership—the movement became a structured, yet deeply human, approach to mentorship.
Joyce is known for showing up online as she is in real life—unfiltered, unedited, and unwavering in her commitment to help women learn how to lead, advocate for themselves, and rise together.
What began as a grassroots movement in Las Vegas has now become an expansive global vision: a future where a million women are equipped with the tools, community, and confidence to thrive in corporate, entrepreneurial, and leadership spaces alike.
This is her story—of grit, grace, and the unstoppable force of women who rise together.
Let’s begin with CWL. What inspired you to create the Collective Women’s Leadership community?
“CWL, Collective Women’s Leadership, was founded one year ago, actually this month—April. I was in grad school as kind of an older student, and I found myself surrounded by some younger peers who were phenomenal. I learned so much from them, but many of them had graduated during COVID and started their corporate careers or businesses from their bedrooms and beds, attending Zooms.
What I found was that there was a lack of confidence, a lack of executive presence, and no clear direction—not because of anything they did wrong, but because they didn’t have the traditional launch into professional spaces. That entire generation began their careers virtually, and it created this huge need for support, connection, and guidance.
At the same time, in Las Vegas, a lot of the networking communities and groups had disappeared—either from lack of funding or because they were too industry-specific. Most of the groups that did remain were only for executives or senior-level women, which excluded so many voices. So I created CWL to fill that void: a high-level networking and mentorship space for women from all walks of life.”
It took off so fast! What happened next?
“We got very popular on Instagram, really quickly. We started posting a reel a day, giving women tools to navigate corporate America or entrepreneurship. Suddenly I was receiving DMs and emails asking how people could get involved with CWL if they didn’t live in Las Vegas.
That led to the next big step: the launch of the Collective Women’s Leadership App, which is available on the App Store and Google Play. It’s designed to be mentorship in your pocket: offering not just on-demand video modules, but also live workshops, 1:1 mentoring, and an interactive community space that helps women stay connected in real-time.”
You spent over two decades with global brands like Tiffany & Co. and LVMH. What did you learn there that now lives inside CWL?
“Working with those brands around the world for 25 years taught me about luxury branding—not just for products, but for people. I learned how to show up with presence, how to lead with integrity, and how to thrive in male-dominated industries.
But even then, I was mentoring women. From the beginning of my career, I’ve been helping younger women prepare for interviews, develop confidence, and strengthen their executive presence. CWL wasn’t a departure—it was a natural progression of what I’ve always done.”
Your video content is powerful and relatable. What made you start sharing so vulnerably online?
“I wanted people to know I’d been through everything I was talking about. I wasn’t showing up for clout or money. I never had paid ads. I don’t use filters. I don’t make sure my hair is perfect. I show up as I am—and I talk about the real-life situations all women go through in corporate or entrepreneurship.
Whether it’s negotiating a higher salary, setting boundaries, time-blocking, or surviving toxic work environments—I talk about it. And I think it resonated because it’s raw and honest. What’s fascinating is that a lot of my audience isn’t even in the U.S. Women from the UK, Asia, Africa, India, and Dubai follow CWL because they see the American businesswoman as a symbol of strength and independence. That visibility matters.”
You say CWL is about helping women rise into modern leadership. What does that look like to you today?
“Modern leadership for women means walking into the room like you already own it. You need to be confident in what you’re saying, and you have to put in the reps—every single day. Do the hard stuff first. The more challenges you take on, the more powerful you become. Leadership isn’t a title. It’s a choice.”
You were preparing for law school—but CWL took over. Can you tell us what happened?
“I had signed, sealed, and delivered my law school plans. But CWL was growing fast. I had to make a decision. The need for this platform was undeniable. Women were showing up, leaning in, and asking for more. And so I listened. That’s what I call following the season of purpose. It’s not always the path you planned, but it’s the one that’s calling you.”
You’ve already impacted tens of thousands of women. Any transformation stories that really moved you?
“Yes. On a personal level, I never thought I’d be in my mid-40s, building something like this. It was the younger women in grad school who gave me the courage to do it. They looked at me and said, ‘We need your voice. You’ve done it. You’re a trusted resource.’ That meant everything.
And now, through CWL, I’ve seen women step into their power, negotiate their first big salary increase, launch their businesses, and finally be seen and heard. Those are the stories that keep me going.”
The “Collective Method” is the foundation of CWL. What makes it so essential for women?
“The Collective Method is grounded in real mentorship. It’s created by women, for women, and built from real-world experience. Every woman, no matter her industry or career stage, needs to understand personal branding, executive presence, emotional intelligence, self-advocacy, and how to handle tough conversations. Once you master those, your confidence soars—and everything starts to shift.”
What makes CWL different from other programs?
“Unlike traditional leadership programs, CWL is built by women, for women, with mentorship at its core. It’s not a DISC assessment or a snapshot in time. It’s real-time, real-world mentorship. Every woman—whether she’s an emerging leader or a seasoned executive—needs to know how to advocate for herself, how to brand herself, how to show up. That’s what we teach.”
You’ve brought CWL into corporations. What does that look like?
“I run a six-week mentorship program called Her Collective Power, rooted in The Collective Method, with small groups inside companies. They get full access to the app, the workbooks, and weekly sessions with me. Afterward, we help them build mini-CWLs inside their companies—so the support continues peer-to-peer.”
What advice do you have for multi-passionate women unsure where to begin?
“Start small. Start with one passion. For me, it was mentoring. That became CWL. Then it became an app. Then it became a movement. Take one aligned step. That’s all it takes.”
What’s the five-year vision for CWL? What does your dream life look like?
“I’m speaking on stages around the world, empowering women to rise into their highest leadership. CWL is global. We’ve touched a million women. There are local chapters in every major city. I feel aligned, proud, and unstoppable.
I’ve already started to feel that now, through partnerships like this one, and I know it’s just the beginning.”
Let’s talk about rituals. What are your non-negotiables?
“From 5 a.m. to 9 a.m., it’s all me time. I work, I move, I meditate. Whether it’s yoga, the gym, or mindfulness—I make sure I center myself before I give my energy to the world. From 9 a.m. onward, I pour into other women. But I protect my mornings like gold. And yes—self-care is scheduled. I don’t wait until I’m burnt out to rest. It’s all planned.”
Final question: your favorite mantras or mottos?
“One of my favorites is: ‘Surround yourself with who you want to become.’ Because who you’re around, you start to mirror. That’s the heartbeat of CWL. We rise together.”
