Can you share your journey into the world of personal development? Was it something you stumbled upon or always had an interest in?
Personal development was not always on my radar. It began with a curiosity for meditation, which I explored through online resources like YouTube. Initially, I found it challenging to quiet my busy mind during meditation. However, I persisted and eventually discovered the practice of the miracle morning, which involved waking up earlier and incorporating activities like yoga, meditation, journaling, and reading into my morning routine.
This was a turning point that led me to reflect on my own identity. The full immersion into personal development and coaching came later when I faced a major setback in my Marketing consultancy business due to unforeseen circumstances. It was during this time that I realized my interest in the coaching industry and embarked on various courses. However, the most significant transformation occurred when I pursued an NLP course with EAWTC, which eventually led me to join their team as well.
Could you share any low points or challenges you faced during your journey and how you overcame them?
One of the lowest points in my journey was when I experienced a sudden loss of clients and faced a significant downturn in my hotel marketing consultancy business. In a matter of two weeks, everything went downhill, and I found myself questioning my future and contemplating whether I should give up and seek employment instead. Additionally, as a mother, I faced challenges and negative emotions after the birth of my first child. Contrary to the idealized experiences often portrayed on social media, I struggled with overwhelming feelings of doubt and a sense that I wasn’t living up to the expectations of motherhood.
However, these low points became catalysts for personal growth. Through my personal development journey and the birth of my second child, I began to transform my mindset and develop a more positive outlook. I learned to challenge societal norms and embrace non-traditional family dynamics so that I was generating income and my partner was the stay at home dad, leading to a stronger relationship with my partner and a sense of fulfillment in both my professional and personal life.
If you could give advice to your younger self, what would it be?
I would tell my younger self to start earlier on the path of personal development and exploration. Although I believe that everything happens for a reason and our journeys unfold perfectly, I wish I had discovered the power of NLP, mindset work, personal transformation, and understanding money at an earlier stage.
I would encourage my younger self to have curiosity and explore alternative ways of thinking and doing things beyond the conventional norms. Breaking down existing mental models and being open to new ideas and concepts can lead to tremendous growth and the realization of previously unimagined possibilities.
How do you balance your work-from-home lifestyle with being a mom? Do you have any specific routines or strategies that set you up for a successful day?
Balancing work and motherhood requires effective scheduling, planning, and disciplined routines. I firmly believe that the freedom people seek actually comes from the discipline of having a schedule. It’s essential to create a schedule that encompasses all aspects of life, including work, family time I’ve learnt to schedule in time for softer days where I can focus on more administrative tasks, content creation, and planning for the upcoming week. Fridays are usually dedicated to personal development and learning. I carve out time for reading books, attending webinars or workshops, and investing in my own growth. This helps me stay inspired and constantly expand my knowledge and skills.
In terms of self-care, I prioritize it throughout the week. I make sure to incorporate small self-care activities every day, such as taking short breaks to stretch and move my body, enjoying a cup of tea or coffee in peace, or simply spending a few moments in the sun. . Additionally, I set aside specific blocks of time during the week for self-care practices that require more attention, like meditation, exercise, or pampering myself with a relaxing bath or a good book. These moments of self-care allow me to recharge and stay balanced amidst the demands of work and motherhood.
Overall, having a well-structured schedule and incorporating self-care practices into my routine has been instrumental in maintaining productivity, focus, and a sense of well-being. It ensures that I can effectively manage both my professional responsibilities and my personal life, creating a harmonious balance that allows me to thrive in all aspects.
And now, when it comes to the work that you’re doing, what offers and courses do you have for women to jump into right now?
Yes, we have a variety of offerings and courses available for women to engage with. One of our flagship programs is the NLP training through EAWTC, which has proven to be completely transformational in multiple aspects. Individuals join this training for personal reasons, seeking breakthroughs and personal transformations. Additionally, we have existing coaches who enroll in the program to acquire new tools and modalities, as well as individuals who aspire to become coaches themselves. The coaching industry is currently experiencing rapid growth, and many people are jumping into it. So, these are the three categories of people who typically participate in our NLP training.
Moreover, my role within the EAWTC team primarily revolves around supporting individuals who have completed the training and wish to establish their own coaching business. I assist them in kickstarting their business by providing guidance on various aspects such as setting up a business, marketing strategies, sales techniques, social media presence, branding, and personal branding. I also extend my support to those who have completed coaching courses but lack the necessary business know-how.
They might have obtained training in life coaching or other areas, but their educational institution may not have adequately covered the essential aspects of running a business. Consequently, many individuals possess immense potential and possess excellent skills in helping others, but they struggle to realize their full potential due to a lack of business knowledge. This is where I come in, offering assistance with mindset, marketing, and financial aspects to help individuals start or scale their coaching businesses.
Are these courses enrollment-based or live?
It varies For instance,Integrated Business program is entirely conducted online, featuring self-paced modules that participants can complete at their convenience. Additionally, we offer coaching calls to provide further support and guidance. So, it is a combination of both online and live components. Integrated Business is evergreen, meaning it is available at all times for enrollment. However, our NLP Training , which I highly recommend, follows an enrollment-based model. It is conducted three times a year, and individuals need to enroll during specific enrollment periods to participate in this transformative training.
How do you embody your current level of success?
Embodying my current level of success involves defining my personal version of success. Initially, I used to place a significant emphasis on external measures of success, such as having a million-dollar business or acquiring material possessions like a house. However, through my personal growth journey, I have come to realize the importance of defining success on my own terms.
For me, embodying success means excelling in my role as a <Marketing Director and ensuring my clients’ satisfaction by helping them achieve remarkable results. It also involves cherishing the small moments in life, such as being present when my kids come home from school or taking time off to enjoy activities with them, like going to the shops together and having a treat.
I encourage my clients and myself to appreciate these micro moments and celebrate the progress we have made. It is common for entrepreneurs to constantly strive for the next milestone without acknowledging their current achievements. To combat this, I encourage practicing gratitude and creating lists of a hundred amazing things about oneself to foster a sense of appreciation for where we are in the present moment.
How do you approach manifesting your next goals or visions?
Manifesting my next goals and visions involves aligning my thoughts and feelings with what I desire. It goes beyond just wanting and hoping for something. I have witnessed the power of aligning my head and heart in the manifestation process. Many individuals spend a lot of time in their heads, thinking and visualizing what they want, and then I have this innate ability to distill their thoughts and ideas into clear, actionable steps.
I can see the bigger picture and help them navigate through the clutter, guiding them towards their goals and desired outcomes. My superpower lies in simplifying complex concepts and breaking them down into manageable tasks, empowering my clients to take decisive action and make meaningful progress. I also have a knack for connecting with people on a deep level, creating a safe and supportive space where they feel heard, understood, and inspired. This enables me to build strong relationships and foster a sense of trust and collaboration with those I work with. Ultimately, my superpower is the ability to empower and uplift others, helping them unlock their full potential and achieve success in their personal and professional lives.
