Lena Linh Franklin was born at the intersection of worlds. Raised in a hybrid Buddhist–Christian household, she grew up under the influence of a Vietnamese mother who immigrated to the United States in 1975 — the only member of her family to leave Vietnam after the war. Fierce, visionary, and born in the Year of the Dragon, her mother carried both trauma and prophecy.

“My divorce was the severing of my attachment to the external—perfectionism, how it looked, what people thought.”
Her body began whispering before it began screaming. One morning, she could barely rise from bed. A Chinese energy medicine doctor delivered the diagnosis that pierced her identity:
“My heart energy was alarmingly low… because I was giving everything out and not giving to myself. I was denying my truth.”
She had mastered generosity. She had not mastered sovereignty. She knew she had to leave her marriage. After making that decision internally with quiet clarity, she met a love that mirrored her soul — and it accelerated the inevitable. False attachments gave way to truth. To love.
