Marisha Lakhani | Scaling Global Consciousness with Intuition and Impact

From Malaysia to the world stage, redefining what it means to lead growth with heart, strategy, and vision.

Marisha Lakhani is not just a growth leader—she is a force of transformation. As the woman behind the exponential rise of Mindvalley, one of the most influential consciousness and education companies in the world, Marisha has scaled its reach from $30 million to over $200 million while fiercely protecting the soul of the brand. Her approach is a rare alchemy: equal parts intuition, data-driven precision, and bold leadership.

For over seven years, Marisha has been at the helm of growth, guiding the company through profound shifts—from pioneering a subscription-based model to localizing Mindvalley in multiple languages and launching high-end programs that elevated lifetime value. Her strategies are measured not just in revenue but in resonance. For Marisha, growth is not about numbers alone—it is about values, impact, and leaving a legacy of service.

What sets her apart is her unapologetic embrace of intuition. In an industry dominated by metrics, she leads with both gut and grit, proving that women can merge strategy with spirituality to create results that surpass imagination. From speaking on global stages in Barcelona, Sri Lanka, and Las Vegas—often as the only woman in the room—to mentoring other leaders, she continues to redefine what it means to lead in today’s world.

Now building three companies alongside her role at Mindvalley—including an AI venture and a CMO certification program for women—Marisha is ushering in a new era of leadership. Her mission is clear: to create systems, communities, and tools that empower humanity to rise.

You currently lead growth for one of the most transformational companies in the world. What does growth mean to you?
Growth is about being a better person every single day and designing a life I can be truly proud of. Fulfillment comes not just from my work, but from how I nurture relationships, prioritize health, and commit to learning daily. It’s asking: How can I be 1% better today in how I show up?

Mindvalley is at the forefront of global consciousness and education. What unique strategies have you implemented to scale its reach while keeping the soul of the brand intact?
We’ve always been human-centric. Growth has never been at the cost of our values. When I joined, Mindvalley was at $30 million. Today, we’re at $200 million. That came from reinventing the business model—turning it into a subscription platform, localizing into multiple languages, changing our marketing approach, and launching high-end products. But at the heart of it, it’s always been about delivering value with integrity.

How long have you been with the company now?
Seven years.

Looking back at the version of you seven years ago to today, what would you say has shifted?
Everything. Being surrounded by people obsessed with growth changed me. I’ve found balance—I start my mornings with spiritual practice and fitness, then run not just Mindvalley but three companies, travel, and speak globally. I’ve become bolder, more intentional, and more unapologetic about showing up as a woman leader in spaces where there are very few of us.

What does it take to lead growth in a company that prioritizes both spiritual elevation and strategic performance? How do you balance intuition with analytics?
At first, I relied heavily on numbers. But over time, I embraced my intuition. I’m a manifester—what I think about often materializes. Intuition, for me, is actually built on years of conversations, data points, and experience that live within me. When I trust my gut, I’m almost always right—about people, about strategy, about timing.

Have you always been deeply intuitive?
I used to second-guess myself. But through courses and practice, I started trusting my gut, visualizing, detaching, and aligning. Now, I know how to shift energy even in challenging months. Intuition plus trust in the universe has become my edge.

What was the pivotal moment in your career that shifted how you lead?
COVID. Overnight, I became CMO with 117 people reporting to me. I didn’t know half their names, so I wrote them on my window to memorize. My focus was trust and clarity. I told my team, you own the wins, I own the failures. I celebrated their victories and took responsibility for losses. That built trust and boldness. Then I led with clarity—sharing openly, even what I didn’t know. That authenticity created one of the best growth years Mindvalley has ever had.

You built culture.
Culture is everything. You can’t thrive without trust. Even years later, I keep in touch with ex-employees—it shows the depth of those connections.

You’ve worked alongside some of the world’s greatest thought leaders. What has proximity to them taught you about power and purpose?
It’s like living inside a podcast studio every day. Their stories, philosophies, and humility shape you. Beyond their content, it’s how they show up—checking in on teams, caring for others—that leaves the greatest lessons about leadership.

What qualities do you believe every next-level leader must develop today?
Communication. Emotional intelligence. Empathy. Bold decision-making. Too many are afraid to take risks. During COVID, when my team suggested 70,000 attendees for an online summit, I pushed for 200,000. They thought I was crazy—Zoom couldn’t even hold it—but we hit 199,000. Leaders must dream bigger.

How do you care for your energy and creativity while leading a global brand?
Music grounds me. I start my day with it. I also walk outside, set boundaries, and prioritize sleep. No phone before bed, no alarm in the morning—just deep rest and rituals that keep me clear and aligned.

What rituals keep you in your power while scaling big visions?
Listening to music, working out before work, nightly self-care, downtime without devices. These simple non-negotiables keep me aligned, grounded, and receptive to the right answers.

What is the future of conscious growth in business, and how is Mindvalley shaping that?
We’re launching a personalized AI that integrates your nutrition, astrology, bloodwork, and goals to recommend daily growth protocols—meditations, workouts, breathwork, even expert lessons. It’s personal growth, customized to you.

Where do you see yourself evolving next?
I’m building three companies: an agency that scales humanity-driven brands, an AI agent marketplace to automate business tasks, and a CMO certification program for women. I want to redefine leadership training to include spirituality, intuition, and creativity—skills business schools ignore but the world desperately needs.

If legacy is a story we leave behind, what do you hope is yours?
That I helped people rise. Whether through Mindvalley, my agency, or my CMO program, I want women and leaders to trust themselves, expand their light, and impact the world with intention.

If you could go back and speak to your younger self entering this space, what would you say?
Trust yourself. Don’t let anyone’s words dim your light. People will tell you what you can’t do. The moment you believe them, you cap your potential. Have faith. The universe is guiding you—always.
