So we’d like to start by kind of getting to know you a little better and getting some fun quirks, hobbies, talents that might not be known from your online presence.
That’s such a fun question! I have so many facets to my personality, and I’m happy to share some. First, I call myself a Lone Ranger. Being an only child shaped me in a unique way—I’m deeply independent and self-reliant. This extended to raising my only child, and, sadly, after losing both my parents, I’ve felt a profound connection to the spiritual realm. I often look to signs, energy, and intuition for guidance. I believe that unseen forces often show us the way when we’re open to receiving them.
When I started my business, my parents were still here, and we were so close—I called us the Three Musketeers. That tight-knit bond shifted when my son was born, creating new dynamics. I’ve always been a bit of a rebel, refusing to live life according to conventional expectations. I’ve embraced my role as a risk-taker, which has led me to exciting, unpredictable places. There’s no normal or mundane path for me, and I’m nowhere near done carving out this unconventional journey.
Is there anything in your past or personal life that really pushed you toward this career path? Did you always know you’d pursue this?
Absolutely, I’ve always had an innate drive to march to the beat of my own drum. From an early age, I realized that living within someone else’s framework—whether personal or professional—was not for me. It’s a lesson I had to learn the hard way through years of trying to fit into roles that didn’t align with my purpose. Those experiences taught me that ignoring your calling only leads to discomfort and missed opportunities.
In 2013, I took a leap of faith by leaving Los Angeles and moving to New York City. It was an exhilarating but terrifying decision. I quit a stable job with a steady paycheck, bonuses, and security—everything society tells you to value. People thought I’d lost my mind, but deep down, I knew I needed to take that risk. Regret is far scarier to me than failure. When my dad passed, I returned to California, and his loss amplified my understanding that life is fleeting. I realized I couldn’t afford to wait any longer to build the life I envisioned.
How did the challenges you faced, like the loss of your parents and personal struggles, shape your journey?
The losses I’ve endured have been some of the most defining moments of my life. Losing both my parents, my best friend, and even my beloved cat in a short span of time was a heavy burden. To add to that, my divorce was a pivotal and painful chapter. But through all of it, I learned that time is precious, and waiting for the “perfect moment” is a trap.
When I turned 40, I decided to stop playing it safe. For years, as a single mom, I focused on stability for my son’s sake. But as he grew older and more independent, I realized it was my time to pursue entrepreneurship wholeheartedly. Starting a business at 40 was daunting—many people questioned my decision. But I knew in my heart that building someone else’s dream wasn’t fulfilling my purpose. These experiences have shaped my resilience and deepened my commitment to growth. I’m not the same person I was five years ago—and I don’t want to be. Growth, evolution, and stepping into my power are constants in my life.
Money is everywhere. You’ve just been conditioned to believe there’s only one way to make it.
You mentioned grief being part of your transformation. Can you share how you transformed that pain into power?
Grief is such a complex emotion. What I’ve learned is that grief and mourning are not the same thing. Mourning is a season—it’s temporary—but grief is something you carry with you forever. It becomes a part of who you are. After losing my parents, my best friend, and others close to me, I knew I couldn’t face it alone. Seeking the help of a grief trauma psychotherapist was life-changing.
When my dad passed away, it was unexpected and devastating. But in that moment, something inside me awakened. My dad always told me I could achieve anything if I put in the work, and those words became my driving force. I channeled that pain into purpose. In the ten months following his passing, I grew my business by 600%. I realized that being an entrepreneur isn’t just about making money; it’s about creating a ripple effect. When you help a client, you’re impacting their life, their family, and their community. That understanding became the foundation of my work.
Health seems to be a priority for you. How has that focus evolved over time?
Health is everything to me now. Losing loved ones to illnesses like cancer made me hyper-aware of the importance of prevention and self-care. I’ve become a big advocate for biohacking and proactive health measures. For example, because my mom passed away from ovarian cancer, I made the decision to have a hysterectomy to reduce my own risk. It wasn’t an easy choice, but it was the right one for my long-term health.
I also believe that health is the foundation of success. Without it, you can’t show up fully for your dreams, your business, or your loved ones. I’ve invested in various modalities to maintain my energy and vitality, and I’m committed to extending my lifespan so I can continue making an impact.
Can you tell us about your current offerings and how people can work with you?
I currently offer three transformative programs:
- One-on-One Coaching: This is an exclusive experience tailored to help clients build a comprehensive business and brand. It’s by application and interview only because I dedicate a lot of time and energy to each client.
- Empire Ignite: A three-month mastermind designed to set entrepreneurs up for foundational success. Many people underestimate the importance of building a strong foundation, and this program addresses that.
- Empire Builders Mastermind: This is my signature one-year program, inspired by the resilience and ambition of New York City’s skyline. It’s all about creating scalable, profitable businesses on a solid foundation.
I’m especially proud of Empire Builders because it focuses on building and scaling businesses, with a heavy emphasis on lead generation—a crucial yet often overlooked aspect of entrepreneurship. Many entrepreneurs struggle because they don’t know how to generate consistent leads, and this program changes that out of the gate.
We cannot become what we want by remaining what we are.
What are you manifesting right now?
My first focus is always health and wellness because everything else stems from that. Beyond that, I’m manifesting prosperity and abundance for my clients. When they succeed—when they step into their power and achieve their goals—it’s incredibly fulfilling for me. I believe in creating a ripple effect of positivity, success and abundance.
Do you have a mantra or motto that guides you?
One of my go-to mottos is: “Luck is when preparation meets opportunity.” It’s a reminder that success isn’t random. It’s about being ready when the right opportunities come your way. That philosophy has shaped how I approach both my business and my life.
