Tell our readers more about you, especially the parts that are not on social media.

As far as business goes, I think there’s a lot that I don’t put on social media. People always think because we have the show that we just have cameras following us around everywhere. And they’ll go, “Can you send me a video of you showing a house that’s not on Selling Sunset?” And I’m like, “Well, I don’t normally have cameras following me around when I’m showing homes”.

There are so many more projects that I have going on. I’m writing a book right now but it’s not announced yet. It’s going to be really interesting. It’s going to give an insight into events that have happened in my life, that I haven’t shared before.

I am who I am now because of those events and what I took from them. It’s very empowering, and hopefully, it will give hope to a lot of people, women who did it on their own. I didn’t just start out here. It was a tough road, and I fell down so many times and had to pick myself back up again. Wherever you are, it doesn’t mean that’s where you are going to end up or where you have to be.

There’s always the opportunity and possibility to change.

On that note, what advice would you give to your younger self?

Work-wise: Hire an assistant way earlier. I always think I can do everything myself, and I ran myself into the ground. If it’s worth it and if I’m able to do something, I want to do it. But I can’t do everything myself though, and there are only many hours in the day. I can be the face, I can be the one to get more business and talk to people, but having help on the backend is crucial to make sure nothing falls through the cracks. . It’s just accepting the fact that I must  free up my time to focus on priorities. I was very stubborn about that before.

Life-wise: Be frugal. Because of other events in the past, I’m very frugal with my money. But it’s not cheap, I’m just very smart with my money and cautious.
