In Dec 2022, my former world came crumbling down.

I came face to face with my greatest fear – betrayal – and had to leave my marriage to step into the unknown

These words echoed in my mind “My body is an altar. The sacred site is me.”

 

No matter what happened – I knew I would always hold myself through life’s biggest uncertainties.

I transmuted my deepest pain into my highest art
I looked at my shadows right in the eyes
And integrated them to become my full expression

Instead of fearing the snake- the underworld and the unknown- I danced with it

And through this metamorphosis, emerged my artist

My voice awakened, sensuality blossomed and liberation unfolded. I shed the conditioning of who I thought I needed to be and remembered who I truly am.

I began producing and writing music + my debut album🌹My Body Is An Altar🌹was born.

Every song you hear was created by me from the beat to the finish, infusing Middle Eastern + Afro Beats with lyrics you feel good about getting stuck in your head.

 

This album is the journey of alchemy  – a certain one that only heartbreak can give you – to allow you to become the love of your own life.

My prayer is that it supports you as you move through life’s major initiations, to remember your body is the altar and the sacred sight is you.
