Let’s begin by telling our readers a bit more about you and especially the parts that we don’t have the pleasure of already knowing from social media?

I’m a total nerd. I’ve always been, as long as I can remember, a very curious kid and very loved. In hindsight, looking back, being a therapist and a coach, I was always that for people, even when I was a kid. I was very in tune. I was very empathic. I remember seeing psychics with my mom when I was young and they would say your daughter has these special gifts and she’s extremely powerful. It didn’t make sense at the time, but I now know I was always meant to be doing big things. It took me a long windy road to get there, but I’ve always been passionate about human behavior.

I’ve always been an avid reader, always wanting to learn new things, take new courses, understand things more deeply and be more with nature. I think on some level I’ve always been connected to the bigger things. Now that I’m 41 and doing the work, that it all makes so much more sense. I love my family and I’m obsessed with my son and husband. I’m quite introverted, yet I facilitate hundreds of people every day! I can be on stage with thousands of people, but I deeply love and need my time alone.

Walk us through your journey, from the lowest point to your awakening. What did that look like?

Well, I’m an open book. On my podcast, Beyond Breakthroughs, I share all of these things. I’ve had many low points along my journey. For example, prior to operating an online business, I worked in a clinic in downtown Toronto, when I would see people on Bay Street and I was running this business that was not profitable. I was working with clients that were not aligned, and I was so strapped for cash in my business that I could barely pay my team. There was a month where I couldn’t pay my team and I needed to ask my boyfriend who’s now my husband, who I had just started dating, to loan me money to pay my team. I’d been running a business for ten years and I was still in this cycle of not being profitable

I remember coming home from work one day and I just made this decision.Within a month, I closed down my practice. It was in that moment of reckoning, that breakdown that the breakthrough emerged, I was able to really start to create a brand new brand and go online. In that first year during the pandemic, I had gone from closing my brick and mortar practice to scaling my online business to a seven figure business.

What advice would you actually give to that younger version of yourself?

The advice I would give, is stop spending so much time in your head, planning out all the details, and just make the jump to build the plane as you fly, because that’s what I did. You’re never going to get it right. It’s not going to look the way you thought it was. It’s going to look entirely different, but you have to trust the nudges from God, source, universe, mother nature, whatever you believe in, you have to trust the edges. You have to know that if something feels intuitively off, if you’re out of alignment, if you’re feeling sick and burnt out, that’s not the way that you’re supposed to be feeling when you’re in alignment.

How do you embody success now in your daily life?

I’m a walking embodiment of the work I teach. I wake up in the morning and the first thing I do is meditation, breath work, or some kind of reconnection with my body and setting an intention. I move my body every day, whether it’s with the gym, long walks or Pilates, I come home and I connect with my husband and my son. And we set our intentions for the day and we do our appreciations and intentions. I teach Morning Mindset Club where we talk about a morning thought for the day and setting up our day powerfully. Everything I do is intentional in my day.

I would love to know, having built a seven figure business in such a short period of time when it comes to reaching big amounts of wealth, what blocks have you seen stand in the way of women?

There are so many blocks; many of us have money wounds. We have wounds around our worthiness. We have these core wounds, either being unlovable or unworthy of success, then we have cultural conditioning telling us it’s not okay or appropriate to talk about money. That money is too materialistic. So many of us have limiting beliefs around money because we’ve either been conditioned to believe it’s bad, or we’ve had an experience with someone that it’s bad. The biggest block that I think women have is they either feel unworthy of a certain amount of wealth, or they don’t know how to receive that level of wealth. They don’t know how to hold the frequency of that level of wealth.

I had to do a lot of the inner work around money to be able to manifest the level of wealth and to hold that frequency continuously over time to believe that I’m worthy of it. To believe that it gets to be easy, to believe that it’s my birthright to be successful, to believe that it’s not materialistic to talk about wealth, to believe that actually the more I talk about wealth, the more I inspire other women to do the same. It’s all of those pieces. I think we’re in this huge paradigm shift, especially because I know Amanda’s on the cover and I think there’s so many more women talking about wealth, and really that money is just a vehicle. It’s just a tool to access the kind of life, the quality of life you want to live. See for me, money is just a tool. What does it provide me? Freedom to make the kinds of choices I want to make.

Whether it’s sending my kid to private school or live in Florida for three months. Buying the house of our dreams, being able to travel first class, being able to give to charity and support causes that we love. It’s just access to choices. And so for me, really teaching women and men that it’s safe for them to receive and that when good people receive abundance, they spread abundance. Money just amplifies who you are. It doesn’t change who you are, it amplifies.

When it comes actually to enroll in your courses, and the process of enrollment periods, what does that look like?

My flagship program, called the C.E.O blueprint, which is my four-week program where everyone starts in working with me. It’s all about healing the inner child. So it’s really understanding that inner child, really understanding some of those core wounds or core limiting beliefs. It’s a really beautiful experiential program.

I also have Morning Mindset Club which is one of my favorite things. It’s a class I teach every morning for 15-20 minutes. It’s spiritual and mindset teachings. It’s the best way to start your day. It is a subscription model. So people can pop into that at any time, currently for $600 a month. It’s so powerful, even for me I believe being in that structure every day has continuously elevated me. I’ve been doing it for three years now.

Now when it comes to manifesting big visions, so that can look like, you know, a certain amount of money you want to make or impact and women you want to reach, what does that look like for you?

I’m going for a $10 million year. I’m going for my first million dollar month. For me the biggest reason for that is that I want to have the level of wealth to be able to give back in extremely meaningful ways. I’ve always had this idea of starting a charity or some kind of a foundation. We want to own multiple properties around the world and have that freedom to live and work from anywhere like we’ve already done.

What I know for sure is with manifestation, we always have to understand that we don’t control the timeline. We have to understand law of gestation, which is, projection into the field and you have to hold that frequency, but you don’t know when that’s going to come into manifestation and it’s your job to hold the faith. So I know that it’s going to happen. It’s not a matter of if, it’s a matter of when.

What would you want your clients to retain the most from the work that you do?

I would want them to retain the awareness that they have the power to create anything their heart desires. That they’re constantly co-creating with the universe, that they get to choose. Their greatest power is their power to choose. That they get to stand in their power, not beside their power and that anything that they desire is actually ultimately available because the fact that you have a need or desire is evidence that it’s already here, but it’s our job and responsibility to hold the faith. It’s our job to take action in spite of obstacles, it’s our job to continuously fail forward.

Now finish this sentence : “My gifts to the world are…”

Seeing people’s power and allowing them to see the power that they have inside themselves.

“If you follow your joy, you’ll follow your bliss. If you follow your bliss, you’ll be in total alignment.”
