I’m a pretty open book. It’s so important to me to show true vulnerability and allow my clients to get real access to the authentic me.I was raised in rural Quebec, and I still live here currently. My parents homeschooled us, all while running a home bakery. And so, the entrepreneurial spirit started young, seeing a very successful business run in our home. I had a passion for singing and all types of entertainment, so if I had the opportunity to stand in front of anyone to share what was in my heart, I took it. And not much has changed in that aspect because I love to talk. My parents sold their business due to my dad’s back injury. We were not a wealthy family but our needs were always met. It was an incredible opportunity for us as children to see that no matter the circumstance, you can be an overcomer. And one of the most beautiful experiences was that I had the privilege of learning the true definition of a powerful woman when my mom took the lead and stepped into the provider role during those times.

When I was fifteen I met my husband Evan, through friends, on a very old social media platform called ICQ. We hit it off right from the start. There was something special there and I think we both knew it. We started dating a few months later, and it all came together like a really beautiful masterpiece. We’ve been married sixteen years this December. We have four incredible children, Colton, Aniston, Scarlett, and Leo. And we own another business that specializes in commercial glass and metal. So we’ve had the pleasure of not only building this relationship together but also a business that is such a blessing. So we’ve been able to walk through life in so many different areas together with building a relationship, building businesses, and building a home with our family. So it’s definitely been a labor of love.

Walk us through your journey into the healing space.

It started in 2019. That’s when I really started to focus on creating my brand of Christal as a coach, and it grew from there. I grew up in generational depression, which is one big reason why breaking generational cycles is so important to me in my line of work coaching women. It came easy to me as things got hard to sink instead of swim. My lowest point was after I had our second child. I suffered immensely from postpartum depression, which turned into depression and anxiety. Looking back upon those days, I am reminded of how dark it actually was. Even to this day, I haven’t shared much about it, and I’m able to share more and more as I grow, but I can remember staring at the ceiling, where the wall and the ceiling meet, just desperately wishing that my husband would come home and save me. I try to educate women that postpartum depression can be crippling, and I’ve experienced that firsthand.

When I had our fourth child, I began to feel myself falling prey to it once again. I remember telling my husband, “I can’t do that again, I can’t sink that low.” So I began my journey in personal development shortly after that, and it was a whirlwind of “aha” moments, breakthroughs, pain, and ripping the band-aid off the wound multiple times to finally allow it to heal. It took me unlearning many religious doctrines, I was taking a leap of faith in myself and putting myself first above all else for a period of time in order to rediscover who I was now. Because she was very different, she was ready to not allow anyone or anything to sabotage her again. I depended on feeling accepted by others. And I worried more about the opinions of others than how I felt or what I needed. And that was the beginning of having inner authority over my thoughts, emotions, and essentially, my essence.

I read the books, I went to the personal development seminars throughout North America, and I watched all the coaches that offered free content as I didn’t have the finances to invest in a coach at that point. But one of the biggest breakthroughs for me was in January of 2019, I joined a 30-day beauty boot camp. And here’s the thing, I was expecting to learn how to apply makeup but it was so much more than beauty. She brought my essence to a new level of transformation — mind, body, and soul. The confidence I exuded was invaluable.

The intimacy and pleasure within my marriage soared. There was a switch in my soul that turned on to finally say to myself, “I am worthy, I am irreplaceable, I am powerful, I am driven, I am determined to succeed, I am no longer shackled down by the opinions of others. I am me.” It took making a decision that I would no longer subscribe to the older version of myself and that I would own authority for who I am meant to be, unapologetically.

What advice would you give to your younger self?

If I could speak to the younger version of myself I would tell her, “You will go through times of uncertainty. You will question many things in order to find your way. But my greatest advice is to continue to pray and depend on God for His guidance. Do not settle for anything less than what you are worthy of. And I know, without a shadow of a doubt, you are worthy of more than you know. Opinions will come and go, but walk in your truth to the sound of your own drum and show up in your calling. Your sparkle, that light within you, needs to shine. Do not allow anyone to snuff out your essence again.”

How do you embody success in your daily life?

Success looks and feels different to everyone. For some, it’s financially. And for others, it’s time. I’ve always felt this sense of success. Having the opportunity to be home raising our children for the last 14 years, having that time could never be replaced with anything more special. But now that we’re in a new chapter in our life where I’m coaching and growing a brand, with the financial success of our businesses, things look differently. It looks like investing in coaching for myself with mentors that are making waves in the industry. For me, practicing what I teach is important. I need to not only talk the talk but walk the walk. So I invest in my mentors by doing the daily work. That is a celebration of success for me — to see where I’ve come from, what I have overcome, and where I still envision myself going. I celebrate success by unapologetically sharing it for others to see. You can do the work and evolve into the person you’re meant to be and not the person you were programmed to be.

What routines or rituals do you implement regularly to stay in ease and flow?

I love slow mornings. I’m not a morning person. Mornings for me need to be slow, luxurious, and calm. My favorite mornings are getting up with my husband before the children are awake, having a coffee, talking about our daily plans, and just basking in the quiet. Once the children are up to and off to school, this is when I do a social media check-in. I answer messages. I do morning posts, reply to comments, and I love to scroll Reels for a few minutes and save different ideas for my batching day of the week. At this point, I’m feeling recharged and I’m ready to dive deep into my own work. I’ll jump into my coaches’ programs, catch a live or a replay, and do the work myself to continue my journey of healing and growth. My highest creative hours are 10 am to 12 pm. This is when the content, copyright, branding, and real ideas flow. During these few hours, I feel most creative and potent. Then I step into some self-care. So now that I feel settled into my day, I’ll do my 30-minute workout, enjoy my supplements, freshen up, and dive back into content. From 1 pm to 3 pm is the time I will go live in my programs, on my socials, bring my essence to my containers, and tap into my coaches’ programs for more up-leveling.

When my kids come home at 3 pm it’s important for me to greet them and hear about their day. From unpacking backpacks to snacks, conversations, and preparing dinner together, that’s their time to unload and spend time with me. Once everyone is settled in bed, my husband and I love to crawl in bed and watch our favorite Netflix series together. We’ve recently started reading more personal development and wealth books, so it’s a great conversation for our morning coffee dates.

What courses do you have for women who want to join your space?

It’s important to me that all women feel they can invest in themselves without breaking the bank. I’ve been there. You feel deliciously connected to a program and the ticket price feels impossible. So I wanted to structure my pricing in a way that no matter where you sit in your finances, something can work. From free masterclasses to one-day micro courses sitting at $22 plus, six-week programs and masterminds from $777 to $1111, and one-on-one coaching for three months at $3333. It’s still valuable for me to offer a menu that can be appealing to everyone. The process of enrolment is very easy. All of my new and current programs are listed on my landing page with information and links to pay. I am always a message away to answer questions to be certain it’s for you. I love it when women come and play my world to see their true potential. It’s an incredible feeling as a coach to witness the transformation.

“Stop rising above to prove to OTHERS you are WORTHY.

What would a “soulmate client” look like for you?

I imagined myself, years ago as a defeated, lonely, exhausted mom who was desiring more in life but didn’t know what more meant, and it felt like it was selfish. Every time I’m asked this question I envision the woman who is curious. “Is there more for me? Is this what my life is supposed to be? Am I supposed to be miserable?” And then she has this “aha” moment where she’s like, “I am ready to put myself first.” So, the dreamiest client is the woman who is ready to take one step towards her own personal breakthrough. And it may not be in the first program, or it may be the first program or in the first live that she feels like the shackles come off. But the dreamiest client is the woman who is ready to take the first step of claiming her authority
over her mind, body, and soul.

What is your manifesting vision for the future?

I really love this question because even as a child, I would be told, “You always get what you want.” And it always came across as being spoiled. But I can remember having this feeling of, “Why not? Why couldn’t it happen?” I would have a dream and I would speak it to life. An example is I went to sleep-away camp for a week and it had to be fully paid for. We couldn’t afford it. I told my mom I wanted to go, I made the call to the sleep-away camp, and I got a call the next day saying, “You’re welcome to come, it’s paid in full.” I just believed it would happen. I always was able to dabble in manifestation. I have been rediscovering the power of manifesting. It really falls down to the power of the tongue. The words we speak can be life or death. If we speak in alignment, we can see the dreams we desire come to life before our eyes, and if we speak without vision, we will not prosper but fail.

So I consciously speak with authority, I do not allow the words of negativity to come into play. I make it clear as to what I desire, envision, and want and I do not cease until I see it before me. And I’m playing more and more with that. It’s been a fun game to see what we can bring to life. I’m really focusing on expanding my business to be at the next level. And financially, that looks like being able to make $10k, non-negotiable, every single month. On the empowerment side of things, my goal is to have 100 women in Sovereignty Redefined over the next year making powerful moves in their life so that they can regain their inner authority.

What would you like your clients to retain the most from the work that you do?

It would be my greatest desire for them to truly take ownership of their personal power. I want them to rediscover their essence, the fire that fuels their soul. I want them to know that their worth is invaluable and that they can overcome any obstacle that tries to take them down. I want them to know that my story and my journey can be their map toward their own breakthrough.

Finish this sentence : My gifts to the world are…

My ability to listen without judgment and speak into the lives of others and see their worth and cast vision. I am a giver and I love to love people. It brings me great joy to make others feel incredible about themselves. I’m confident in who I am and I have the honor to show other women what is possible by loving and honoring yourself, overcoming the pain, and redesigning your life with purpose.
