Guiding high achievers to own their worth and manifest the life of their dreams!
Meet Kelsey Mead, Mindset and Personal Development Coach for coaches & women entrepreneurs. She is a Wealth and Worth Activator, and has a passion for helping other women feel seen, heard, understood, and guiding them to step into their greatest power and purpose.
Tell us about your journey and what brought you into the coaching space?
Coaching is actually the second business that I’ve started. Prior to what the business I have now, I started a healthy vending machine business with my husband. Never in a million years would I have imagined myself driving around and filling vending machines, but it was so much fun for the time that we did that, and it gave me a taste of entrepreneurship. My husband has always been entrepreneurial minded, so its nice to have his support as well. He has a passion for owning real estate, and this journey has really shown me that anything is possible. Freedom and living for & building the life that you want to create, is such a core value of mine. After we accepted a buyout for the vending machine business, I went back to work in an office temporarily, and I just couldn’t stay there. I just sat there and thought, “ I feel like I’m meant for more, there’s got to be more to life than this.”
I didn’t know what it was at the time, and that’s when I kind of fell into coaching, or I don’t want to say fell into, because I truly believe that my soul guided me here. When we allow ourselves to be in rooms with other powerful people, it’s magnetic. I really began to realize, getting into coaching and starting my business and connecting with other powerful women, is there are so many opportunities and so many ways we could limit ourselves if we don’t take a chance on our dreams. So…I started taking chances & betting on myself!!
Walk us through your journey from the lowest point, all the way to your enlightenment, into the healing space.
It was just prior to starting my online business. I realized that I was unfulfilled in every corporate job that I had. I was really at a point where I was just going through the motions. I mean, again, outwardly I had all of the things. I had a marriage, I had two children. I had a really good job. It felt like there was more for me, and this is when my personal development journey really cracked open, and I started really doing the deep soul work and the mindset work, which has led me to build the business that I have today.
What advice would you give to a younger version of yourself now?
Follow your dreams, and it’s okay if you don’t always fit in. We, as women, have so much energy and potential. Just the fact that our bodies can grow a human is pretty impressive. I think one of the things that, again, going back to activating women to step in their full potential, is really realizing that there’s so much of you, why try to fit all of who you are into a little box?
How do you show up and embody success now in your daily life?
It’s a non-negotiable for me to succeed. It’s a standard that I’ve set myself. I am willing to do whatever it takes, in alignment with where my soul is calling me. I think a huge realization that I’ve had is there is no failure, only feedback, and at the root of all self-sabotage is the fear of success. If we truly believe that we can win and we deserve to win, then absolutely nothing stands in our way. I have a saying I use with my clients, “get in bed with your fears.” What I mean by that is if we can be just as comfortable with the feeling of fear, of course, it’s not a comfortable feeling, per se, but if we can get close to it and realize that it really is just a feeling and it only has as much power over us as we give it, then truthfully we are the powerful ones.
What practices do you implement regularly, to stay in ease and flow?
Meditation is a staple in my life. Meditation, journaling, I practice an NLP technique, called future pace journaling (that I teach inside my programs). It’s something that I learned through my certifications. Some people talk about it as vision casting, or I guess future pace journaling is what I’ve always referred it to, but it’s connecting to that future desire and really stepping into the energy of it, as if it’s already done.
Now on that note, for women to enroll in your courses, what does that look like right now in terms of enrollment periods?
I currently have an amazing course that was just downloaded to me this past year, called Wealth Codes. It is a compilation of feminine embodiment, mindset work, and really learning how to tap into the frequency of abundance & own your worth. I think we’ve been conditioned to believe that abundance is something that we “have to create” and creating abundance, but abundance is a frequency that you get to tap into based on how you’re being. It’s a combination of wealth consciousness, money mindset, and personal development in one beautiful ten-module package. I also offer one-on-one coaching, whether that is via an intensive or a one- to three-month commitment with me. That’s kind of on a sliding scale based on availability.
What is something that you would like to manifest?
I do believe saying it out loud gives it some validity and certainty. I’m manifesting a multiple six-figure year, and FINALLY starting my first book.
What do you want your clients to retain the most from the work that you do?
Nothing is out of reach. If you can see it in your mind, you can hold it in your hand.
Finish the sentence, “My gifts to the world are…”
My ability to help people deeply see themselves and activate their God-given gifts.
“You are not a problem to be fixed, you’re a person to be loved.”
