An Unforgettable Summer, in the middle of Nature’s Paradise

Introducing @SurLaCorniche in the marvelous Saint-Adolphe-D’Howard. Nested just a twenty minute drive (less than twenty kilometers) from St-Sauveur, while taking a well-deserved rest from an already paradise lifestyle in Mexico, I decided to complete my PPL Private Pilot License all whilst in the middle of the forrest making memories and spending quality time with friends and family.

I cannot recommend this place enough! The enchanting environment feels as if you are stepping into a nature’s paradise. Nestled atop a hill, this grandiose Manoir has everything your heart desires — the house boasts four full bedrooms, with two en-suite bathrooms and living space to accommodate comfortably 8-12 guests. It has a fire pit, bbq, jacuzzi, sauna, pool and cold plunge. It also has all accommodations for outdoor lovers from your kayaks to paddle boards. This place is by far the perfect getaway and resort spa for an intimate and private retreat. It is a well kept secret, and now it is yours to discover.

A little backstory about my choice in staying in the Laurentian’s ; I was flying out of Mirabel, QC and also wanted a location that was not too far, yet still far enough I would feel as if I am in a retreat and away from the hustle bustle of the city lifestyle.

The Location

St-Adolphe-D’Howard

St-Adolphe-D’Howard is renown for its long hiking trails, lake sceneries, and peaceful nature. Wake up to the sound of birds chirping at your window, as you sit on the outdoor balcony and sip your morning coffee. It’s by the far the more relaxing place on earth. From just a quick drive to St-Sauveur where all the best restaurants and attractions are, you get the peace and tranquility without the traffic and heavy tourism.

People don’t know also that SADH has some of the best restaurants in the North, you just need to go digging and asking the locals to recommend their go-to places.

Pizzeria Luppi

We fell in love with the delicious authentic pizza just down the street at Pizzeria Luppi. Everything from their homemade meatballs, to their renown oven-baked pizza and cannolis. Everything was superb. I recommend making reservations a few days in advance as it is only open from Wednesday – Sunday and it is very high demand for the village and its residents.

Gusto – Boire & Manger

Another fan favorite, bakery and lunch-on, Gusto had a fantastic pastry chef with delicious fresh sweets, coffee and sandwiches and salads. They close quite early around 3-4 pm so you want to go for breakfast or late brunch.

There is truly nothing as satisfying as waking up and walking down to the living space, that is facing the grandiose open terrace overlooking the entire property.

All in all, the house is pure perfection and a dream location. The only comment I have, is to make sure you are ready to make memories and to RELAX. It’s such a relaxing environment, it will be hard to focus on just about anything except taking a pool dip, walking the forrest right behind the house, and running after your kids in the large outdoor backyard. Take the time off – you deserve it.
